Within a single house, two watches made ten years apart can follow opposite paths. Production volume, calibre generation, dial variant, the quality of provenance — these are what separate a watch you keep from a watch you are stuck with.
Buying a brand means buying a reputation. Buying a reference means buying a specific object, with a documented history.
Acquire
You have a watch in view. I examine the reference, the provenance, the condition and the asking price, then give you a written opinion — including when that opinion is to walk away.
Fixed rate per watch — CHF 1,150.
Written report and debrief included.
Keep
You hold several watches. I work through them reference by reference: what is worth keeping, what would be better sold, what is missing.
On request, from CHF 2,500.
One report per watch, a reading of the whole, and a debrief.
Sell
I establish the defensible price, the right channel and the right moment. I take no commission on the sale.
Fixed rate, from CHF 1,800.
Presentation file for the watch and debrief included.

Qualified in watchmaking since 2016. I recruited in Geneva, for a firm placing watchmakers with the leading manufactures — you learn there who does what, and how. I then worked as an interpreter in negotiations for exceptional pieces.
Analysing, valuing, appraising: this is my trade.
My fees depend on no transaction. I take no commission on the watches I recommend, and I disclose any watch that comes from my own holdings.
